MDD: Ambaliyar ruwa a arewa maso gabashin Najeriya ta shafi sama da mutane 400,000

Hukumar jin kai ta Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta bayyana a ranar Litinin cewa, bukatun sama da mutane 400,000 da ambaliyar ruwa ta shafa a yankin arewa maso gabashin kasar Najeriya sun hada da tallafin abinci, ruwan sha, kayayyakin tsafta, tsaftataccen muhalli da matsuguni.
Ofishin kula da ayyukan jin kai na MDD wato OCHA ya ce, tawagar hadin gwiwa ta shugabannin hukumomin MDD da kungiyoyi masu zaman kansu da kungiyar agaji ta Red Cross ta Najeriya sun ziyarci Maiduguri a karshen mako inda suka gana da mutanen da abin ya shafa da jami’an gwamnati.
OCHA ta ce, hukumomin yankin sun bayar da rahoton cewa, an yi wa mutane 300,000 da suka rasa matsugunansu na wucin gadi rajista, tun bayan rugujewar madatsar ruwa ta Alau a ranar 9 ga watan Satumba. Hukumar ta OCHA ta kara da cewa, mai kula da ayyukan jin kai na MDD a Najeriya, Mohamed Malick Fall ya sanar da bayar da tallafin dalar Amurka miliyan 6 daga Asusun agaji na Najeriya, wanda kuma yake aiki kafada da kafada da masu hannu da shuni domin samun karin kudade.
OCHA ta ce, ambaliyar ruwa a fadin Najeriya ta lalata fiye da hekta 125,000 na gonaki a daidai lokacin da ake girbin hatsi, kana mutane miliyan 32 suna fuskantar karancin abinci. (Yahaya)
