Kungiyar cigaban kasashen kudancin Afrika (SADC) ta tabbatar da cewa, an soke taron musammun kan batun zabe mai zuwa a kasar Zimbabwe da ya kamata a bude a ranar 9 ga watan Yuni a birnin Maputo na kasar Mozambique.
'Ba zai gudana ba a ranar 9 ga watan Yuni, ba zan gaya muku dalili ba, amma babu wannan taro na ranar 9 ga watan Yuni', in ji Tomaz Salomao, jami'in kwamitin zartaswa na kungiyar SADC a yayin wata hira da kamfanin dillancin labaran kasar Sin na Xinhua.
Kungiyar wannan shiyya, ba ta fitar da wata sanarwa ba kan wannan batu, ko da yake kafofin watsa labarai sun ba da wannan labari a ranar Alhamis da yamma, ta hanyar rawaito kalaman kakakin ministan harkokin wajen kasar Afrika ta Kudu, Clayson Monyela.
'An soke taron, muna fatan za'a gusa shi zuwa wani lokaci.' in ji mista Monyela.
Taron da aka shirya yi zai mai da hankali kan zaben kasar Zimbabwe da kudin da za'a zuba kan wannan zabe.
Shugaban kasar Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe ya bayyana a makon da ya gabata cewa, zai girmama matakin kotun tsarin mulkin kasar dake bukatar ganin an shirya zaben zuwa ranar 31 ga watan Yuli.
Gwamnatin Zimbabwe na cikin rashin kudi, dalilin haka ya kamata ta nemi taimkon kudi daga kungiyar SADC domin shirya zabe a kasar. Kasar Zimbabwe dai na bukatar a kalla dalar Amurka miliyan 100 domin shirya zaben.
Mista Robert Mugabe mai shekaru 89 a duniya, kuma shugaban kasa mafi tsufa a nahiyar Afrika, zai tsaya takara domin neman sake zarcewa. Babban abokin hamaryarsa da zai fafatawa shi ne firaministan kasar na yanzu Morgan Tsvangirai. (Maman Ada)
